All right, I'll take it from here, in order to save some space. You have probably noticed my name, Tomas, right? Well, I am a Norwegian student in Trondheim City, Norway. I am an active director, writer and cinematographer, currently on a pastime basis.

EXT. TOMAS ON FILMMAKING -- DAY

Filmmaking facinates me. I love the way that lighting, acting, music and camera movement (plus tons of more) control the audiences feelings and emotions. It is all there! Right in front of you, ready to be taken control of.

As filmmaker I am versatile, but I tend to take interest in darker, more unpleasant settings. Nothing excites me more than films with compelling storylines and intriguing characters, combined with beautiful imagery and sound design.

EXT. TOMAS GETTING INTO FILM -- DAY

At the age of 14, I discovered the secrets of video editing software. My father introduced me to a program called Adobe Premiere. Immersed by VFX' (especially), I gained competence in several technical aspects of filmmaking. Not long after, I bought my first camcorder and it has been a one-way road since. The few recent years, I began writing. I try to write every day in order to improve, and by next summer (2012) I hope to have finished my first full feature film screenplay. Wish me luck!

Today, I have experience working on larger sets, including NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting), but also as director, writer and cinematographer on several other productions (see credits).
